Millers Homecare & Compounding Pharmacy is an authentic community pharmacy that has served the people of Northern New Jersey since 1929. The current owner, David Miller, is the grandson of the founder. Both of his parents and both grandfathers were pharmacists.
The company has evolved from a local “corner drug store” into a comprehensive Homecare and Compounding Company offering the community everything from your daily pharmacy needs to surgical supplies, brace and stocking fittings, ambulatory aids and assisted living products as well as a comprehensive Nutrition Center and state-of-the-art Compounding Laboratory specializing in compounded medications for both humans and animals.
With over 80 years of experience there is a good chance that someone on our staff will have seen it before or will have the knowledge needed to get it done the right way.
Millers Pharmacy President, David Miller R.Ph.
David Miller, R.Ph., the current owner and operator of Millers, is the third generation to run this family-owned business.
Millers, located in Wyckoff, New Jersey, was founded in 1929 by David’s grandfather, pharmacist Robert Miller. David’s maternal grandfather, Simeon Einstein, was also a pharmacist and owned a pharmacy in Albany, New York, for more than fifty years. David’s father and mother (Richard and Doris), both pharmacists, managed Millers Pharmacy for thirty years before David took the reins in 1985.
David received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University (Bachelor of Arts in Music), after which he attended The Albany College of Pharmacy, Union University, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. He then joined the Millers Pharmacy staff.
David has called northern New Jersey home his entire life. He currently resides in Wyckoff, NJ, with his wife and two children. When he’s not at the Pharmacy dispensing wellness to the community, developing a new skin care line, or compounding custom medications for patients and veterinarian’s alike, David is enjoying one of many activities with his family or picking up a racquet and playing competitive tennis with friends. David also performs on the French horn in many orchestras in and around New York City.
