Back to School

August 4, 2017 by Miller Admin

With just a few weeks of Summer left ahead of us, it’s got us here at Millers of thinking about Back-to-School time. For most parents this means new clothes, new shoes or sneakers, back packs and school supplies. Here at the pharmacy, it’s a time to focus on better sleep schedules, staying healthy, eating right, preventing illness, head lice and allergy awareness.

Our Nutrition Department whether online or in the store, carries some powerful products to keep your kids in tip top shape during the school year. And there is no better time to prepare them for Back-to-School, than now. Here are some things we recommend you look into for your family to start this new school year off right:

  • For a more restful and rejuvenating sleep, consider a Himalayan Salt Lamp. The negative ions the salt produces cleans the air in the room and refreshes the body.
  • To keep your kids feeling strong, healthy and getting that immunity up, try these Mom-created, kid-approved Multi Vitamins. Small and easy to swallow they are packed with 24 essential nutrients and don’t contain any sweeteners, flavorings or food coloring.
  • If your child has an allergy and you are concerned about their safety, you might be glad to know we carry many allergy awareness products from AllerMates. The AllerMate wristbands clearly and quickly identify your child’s allergy.
  • While nobody likes to think of the unthinkable, head lice does love to travel between students at school. These Fairy Tales hair care products are clinically proven to help prevent head lice with organic herbs and natural plant extracts.

All of these products are available in our online store or of course in the pharmacy. If you do come in, feel free to speak with any of our staff to find the products that are right for your child or your family. Millers is so much more than just medications and filling prescriptions. If you need it, chances are we have it. If we don’t, we’ll find a way to get it for you!

Millers has been proudly serving the Wyckoff, New Jersey community since 1929.
