Did You Know: Halloween Bloat & Healthy Thanksgiving

Anyone feeling a candy hangover from Halloween?

Walking for hours with our little ghosts, witches, and Dorothy’s (one Mom spotted 5 pairs of sparkly red shoes!), it’s hard not to sample their bucket of treats. Starting with Halloween, the sweets and the calories of the Fall and Winter holidays start to pile up. And Thanksgiving is looming! So as we leave the jack-o-lanterns for the squirrels and look to start planning our Thanksgiving menus, Millers would just like to share some healthy recipes from the Mayo Clinic.

So, this year, instead of serving the old standbys — turkey smothered in gravy, candied yams, buttered corn and pumpkin pie — try healthier recipes.
